On Wednesday 12 August, our Junior Concert Band had the wonderful opportunity to perform at the KBB Music Festival, held at Holy Trinity Church.

Led by our Woodwind Tutor, Mr Scott Thomas, and supported by Mr Steve Cournane on Percussion/Drums and Bass, and Mrs Tupa’i on Piano, our young men performed four pieces and represented the College with great pride. With only Term 2 to prepare, the boys did an outstanding job and demonstrated the commitment and progress they have made in a short period of time.

A special thank you to our Senior Music students Ben Turner, Christian Fa’aui, Jan Maglangit and Marley Burns, who supported and encouraged our Junior Boys by performing alongside them as part of the band. Your leadership and support are greatly appreciated. We look forward to hearing much more from our Junior Concert Band throughout the remainder of the year!
