On Thursday 30 July, alongside Marcellin College, Sacred Heart College and St John's College (who came all the way from Hamilton) we celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Marist Brothers and their education in Aotearoa.

St Paul's College and our Senior choir played an essential role in this Mass, leading it through our singing, music, readings and altar servers. This was a highly memorable event hosted by the Marist Brothers and Bishop Steve Lowe; there were more than 8 priests and 2 bishops present. After the Mass, a small portion of our Special Character Committee attended a shared lunch at the Brothers' house in Epsom. This was a small get-together where we got the chance to interact with other Marist schools and the Brothers alongside other visitors. Overall, it was a deeply meaningful milestone and celebration that beautifully united the wider Marist community in fellowship and gratitude for a century and a half of educational legacy.
