Curriculum - Merit and Subject Endorsements 2023

Curriculum

Being involved in the life of the school is important for all the students at the college. It not only engages them with learning in classroom and activities outside of classroom that they enjoy and excel in, but it also supports them in becoming connected within our college community.

Those connections with their students, classroom teachers and coaches can all be influential relationships for our students as they seek to play a full role in school life and build learning relationships that can be a cornerstone to their success in achieving Excellence.

Merit Endorsement

During assembly, the hard work and tenacity of the students who gained NCEA Level 1 and 2 Endorsed with Merit in 2023 were recognised. These were the students who gained 50 credits at the Merit level in Year 11 and 12 last year. Congratulations and well done. The students were presented with a certificate during the assembly.

As a college, we thank all the families for your significant role and contribution to your son’s academic achievement. We know these things don’t just happen. Parent support and involvement are vital in a child’s education, so thank you families for your ongoing contribution. Congratulations to all those students who were Merit endorsed.

Subject Endorsement

We are thrilled to highlight the exceptional achievements of our senior students in Years 11 and 12 in the NCEA examinations in 2023. We recognize the dedication, hard work, and passion displayed by our students in their chosen subjects.

Subject Endorsement is a prestigious acknowledgment awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding performance in individual subjects. It reflects not only academic excellence but also a commitment to personal growth and intellectual curiosity.

These students have not only achieved outstanding results but have also contributed positively to the academic environment, enriching classroom discussions and inspiring their peers to strive for excellence. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and commitment to academic success.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the recipients of the Years 11 and 12 Subject Endorsement. Your dedication and achievements serve as a source of inspiration for the entire school. We look forward to witnessing your continued success and growth in the years to come.
